We acknowledge that it is not unlikely that there are many bugs hidden in parts that the authors do not often use. You can send your bug report, comments and feature requests to the following mailing list that is read by the authors:

There are things that we are probably going to fix rapidly, and others that we are going to find non-prioritary. A typical thing that we do not plan to work on is the portability to other architectures, systems, compilers.

On the other side, if you have an application that is time-critical and that uses a particular field, tell us! We might find it fun to optimize it for you.
